PHILEX Pharmaceuticals Signs MoU with the National University – Bridging Education with Industry

In alignment with our commitment to empowering national talent and supporting the advancement of pharmacy education in Oman, PHILEX Pharmaceuticals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Pharmacy at the National University of Science and Technology.

This strategic partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in several key areas, including student internships, hands-on training programs, short courses, and the development of academic curricula aligned with the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Waseem Hamad, CEO of PHILEX Pharmaceuticals, in the presence of senior officials from both institutions. Through this collaboration, students will gain valuable exposure to real-world pharmaceutical practices, helping them build the competencies required for successful careers in healthcare.

Both parties emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships between academic institutions and the industrial sector to ensure that pharmacy graduates are well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to Oman’s healthcare system.
