Active Ingredient: 500mg Metformin + 2.5mg Glibenclamide
For the management of type Il diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise and single drug therapy do not result in adequate glycemic control.
 
Combination therapy with an insulin-stimulating agent (Glibenclamide) and  an insulin-sensitizing agent (metformin) is an optimal therapeutic first- and second line treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. 
 
Single-tablet Glibenclamide/metformin achieves better glycemic control than monotherapy with either agent.
